Kristin Chenoweth has been set as the host of the upcoming Food Network competition series Candy Land, which is based on the Hasbro children’s game of the same name.
Variety reports that the network has ordered six episodes of the game show, which features “five groups of cake and sugar artists, who create showpieces in order to get a chance to win a grand prize of $25,000.” The players will make their way through “Candy Land” while searching for unique ingredients and flavors to use while trying to reach King Kandy’s Castle. “I’m so excited for the world to see these talented confectionery artists and the incredible set,” Kristin said in a statement. “And I can’t wait to wear a dress again.” Food Network president Courtney White added,
