The reality TV stars reportedly worked on their relationship for a while but realised they couldn't make it work. They were married in 2013 and have three children: Camden, seven, Saylor, four, and Jaxon, five.
Kristin, 33, confirmed the split on her Instagram last weekend accompanied with a picture of her and Jay, 36, with their backs to the camera.
It came after they enjoyed a trip to the Bahamas, but it's said the trip was always planned and had nothing to do with the breakup.
