torontosun.comKristen Stewart is going from playing one of Charlie’s Angels to portraying the angelic Lady Di in Spencer, a new biopic from Pablo Larraín (Jackie).According to Deadline, Stewart, 30, will play the Princess of Wales in a film that “covers a critical weekend in the early ‘90s, when Diana decided her marriage to Prince Charles wasn’t working, and that she needed to veer from a path that put her in line to one day be queen.”The Steven Knight-scripted film will go before cameras next year and takes place over three days “in one of her final Christmas holidays in the House of Windsor in their Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.”The film will not deal with the tragic events in the aftermath of Diana’s death in 1997 at age 36, but instead
