Kobe Bryant's Dad Joe Bryant Passes Away at 69
justjared.comKobe Bryant‘s father Joe “Jellybean” Bryant has died. The former NBA player, who did eight seasons in the basketball league, passed away at the age of 69.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Joe “recently suffered a massive stroke.” Keep reading to find out more… Joe began his NBA career in 1975 with the Philadelphia 76ers and he also played for the San Diego Clippers and the Houston Rockets.
He became a coach after retiring from playing. Joe‘s passing comes four and a half years after his son Kobe and his granddaughter Gianna tragically died in a helicopter crash. Kobe was 41 at the time and Gianna was only 13.
