Kit Harington has suggested that there were “mistakes made, story-wise” at the end of Game Of Thrones. The hit HBO fantasy series wrapped up its eight-season run in 2019, though the final episodes sparked a backlash from fans, with a petition to re-write the season attracting over 1 million signatures.Harington, who played Jon Snow in the series, has now reflected on the final season, admitting that “everyone is entitled to their opinion”.“I think there were mistakes made, story-wise, towards the end maybe,” he told GQ. “I think there were some interesting choices that didn’t quite work.”The actor also looked back on how he felt around the time they made the last season, admitting that the cast “were all so fucking tired”.“I think if there was any fault with the end of Thrones, is that we were all so fucking tired, we couldn’t have gone on longer,” he said.“And so I understand some people thought it was rushed and I might agree with them.
