TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher has opened up about her heart-wrenching divorce, revealing it left her battling intense loneliness before she found happiness again.
In a candid chat with Aimee Fuller on the Monday Mile podcast, the ex-Sky Sports News host shared her personal journey post-split from her former rugby star husband Paul Sampson.
Pouring her heart out, Kirsty described the tough transition after her 2015 separation. She said: "When I got divorced, when I separated, obviously the kids would spend time with their father, and me.
I was horrendously lonely, (I was) not in a good place, very sad. Because it was completely different and I actually don't really love being on my own.
