King Charles III is remembering Queen Elizabeth II on the first Mother’s Day in the UK since her death.
The 74-year-old monarch took to the royal family’s official Instagram account on Sunday to pay tribute to the late queen — who died in September at the age of 96 — on the holiday.
Alongside a sweet throwback picture of King Charles as a toddler standing on Queen Elizabeth’s lap, he wrote: Related: Leaked Coronation Rehearsal Plans Reveal Meghan & Harry Aren’t Included In Procession! The post also included a snapshot of Queen Camilla standing and smiling with her mother, Rosalind Shand, who passed away in 1994.
