King Charles has made a significant health-related decision ahead of Christmas, with insiders suggesting it explains a notable absence.
The King was not present at the ceremony marking the re-opening of Notre Dame on Saturday, despite 35 other heads of state attending reports the Scottish Daily Express.Instead, he delegated his son William to represent the UK in Paris, where the heir had an unexpected meeting with Donald Trump.
This follows raised concerns about the health of both King Charles and Queen Camilla.Charles is currently fighting cancer, having been diagnosed earlier this year.
Although his treatment is believed to be progressing well, it remains a challenging experience for the 76-year-old, who completed an 11-day tour of Australia and Samoa in October.Queen Camilla, 77, has also recently experienced poor health and continues to feel unwell due to pneumonia contracted during their trip to the southern hemisphere.
