Public figures from around the world were set to attend, as well as several members of Parliament.The insider noted that the palace made the announcement on Wednesday in an effort to allow all visitors to reschedule their travel plans.Charles’ upcoming hospitalization comes just hours after Kensington Palace revealed that Kate Middleton, 42, recently had abdominal surgery at London Clinic.The surgery was said to be “successful” and she will remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days before “returning home to continue her recovery.”She will not undertake any public engagements until after Easter.
