King Charles III shared a statement on behalf of himself and Queen Consort Camilla to respond to all the sympathetic messages and support given to the royal family amid Queen Elizabeth II’s death.“Over the last ten days, my wife and I have been so deeply touched by the many messages of condolence and support we have received from this country and across the world,” the new monarch shared on Sunday, September 18, via the royal family’s official Instagram.“In London, Edinburgh, Hillsborough and Cardiff we were moved beyond measure by everyone who took the trouble to come and pay their respects to the lifelong service of my dear mother, The late Queen,” Charles, 73 said in the statement.After acceding the throne, the king and Camilla, 75, went on a tour of the U.K., making stops in all four countries in the week following his mother’s death.
