As chairman of the club, Jones has welcomed royalty from near and far, including Princess Diana and her sons Prince William and Harry, and even Prince Albert of Monaco.
However, it was his interaction with then-Prince Charles that left him blushing, according to Daily Mail Diary Editor Richard Eden.
Recalling the incident, Jones said: "We'd played a match, and I was having a pee." He asked his son if Prince Charles had left, only to hear a voice reply: "No, he's still here." To his shock, it was then-then Prince Charles himself, causing Jones to turn around in surprise and accidentally urinate on his boots.
