A Loose Women panel member has shed light on one aspect of King Charles’ marriage to Princess Diana that he supposedly found “difficult to cope with”.

Jane Moore pointed out that the then Prince of Wales struggled with Diana's "moody" and "mercurial" moods during their time as husband and wife.Jane, who encountered Diana multiple times in her career as a royal reporter, discussed these insights alongside her co-panellist Sunetra Sarker on their recent podcast.

They speculated about the role Diana might have continued to play within the Royal Family had she not tragically passed away 28 years ago, Cambridgeshire Live reports. In terms of Diana's demeanour, Jane observed: "She could be quite mercurial.

One minute she'd be quite chitty chitty chat chat with you, and then if there was something that happened that she didn't like, she would be very frosty."She was quite moody, I suppose, and I think that was what Charles found very difficult to cope with because she was a lot younger than him." Despite the fact that Charles has been contentedly wedded to Queen Camilla since 2005, the public remains fascinated by his previous union with Diana.
