It seems as though there's no room for Prince Harry to return to the Royal Family despite the number of working royals depleting.

King Charles, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment, has recently resumed public duties, though he previously had to temporarily stop many of his public engagements after revealing his diagnosis in February.

Meanwhile The Princess of Wales is also off work following her own cancer diagnosis. Earlier this year reports had circulated that Prince Harry, whose relationship with his father has been fraught, could temporarily step back into royal duties while his father focussed on his health.

Having stepped back as a working royal in 2020, reports claimed that the Duke of Sussex, 39, was open to temporarily stepping back into a royal role while his father received cancer treatment, with Harry reportedly telling friends that he would be willing to do so.
