Former Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has shared her pride at her fellow bandmate Cheryl ’s West End debut as she took to the stage for the first time in 2:22 A Ghost Story earlier this year.
The 41 year old star revealed that Cheryl’s performance had been nothing short of “brilliant”, with Kimberley even revealing she’d given her close pal some tips prior to treading the boards for the first time at the Lyric Theatre in January.
Speaking for the first time about her sense of pride in watching her friend take to the stage so well, Kimberley told MailOnline that she felt like a “proud mother” watching the singer in action. “It was so good.
I hadn't seen the play before, but I'd sort of been meaning to see it as a few people I knew had obviously been in it already and then Cheryl said she was doing it,” explained Kimberley.
