Kim Kardashian files to be legally single, despite Ye's pleas to reconcile

Kanye West, who legally goes by the name Ye, publicly pleaded with her for a reconciliation during a concert.In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Kim is asking a judge to declare her single while she and Ye continue to work out custody and property issues.

The filing is quite common with high-profile divorces. It also signifies that Kim is ready to officially move on from her third marriage.The timing is interesting.

Kim attended her ex's concert in Los Angeles on Dec. 9 and heard him freestyle the lyrics to his song "Runaway." At the end of the song he sang, "Run back to me … more specifically, Kimberly."Since Kim filed for divorce earlier this year, the duo has put up a united front for their four children.
