At the time she was a household name playing Samantha in the hit show Sex And The City. The now 64-year-old actress, who was newly married to musician Mark Levinson at the time, was at the peak of her powers when there were few roles for older women.
Kim told the Women’s Prize For Fiction Podcast that her gruelling schedule, combined with her passion for her work left her feeing motherhood simply wasn’t an option.
