Kilmarnock man is running the ‘length of Britain’ in a bid to raise funds after his lifelong friend’s MS diagnosis.Adam Johnstone, 34, will part run a mammoth 809 miles throughout the streets of Kilmarnock in January for MS Society Scotland.

Alongside childhood pals Jaimie Tait - who was diagnosed with MS in October 2019 - and John Morrison who will be completing their respective runs in Glasgow and Prestwick.

The trio will need to run a minimum of eight and a half miles individually every day to complete the virtual Land’s End to John o’Groats race in time for the January 31 deadline.
