Killer Levi Bellfield is going to be interviewed by police about unsolved violent attacks dating as far back as 1996. The serial killer - believed to be one of the most dangerous criminals Britain has ever known - was convicted in 2011 and is currently in jail.
At the time of his conviction, detectives said they believed Bellfield may have been responsible for around 20 attacks on women which were never solved.
Met Police officers, who are coordinating the investigation, now want to quiz him in person - but they will have to wait for lockdown measures to be eased before they are allowed in the prison.
