IN 2018, the last year of the second-generation Soul, Kia sold more zero-emission electric Souls in Europe than petrol or diesel versions combined.
That is an incredible statistic and one that has given the Korean company a huge boost as they launch the third-generation all-electric Soul, in the UK.
Emilio Herrera, chief operating officer for Kia in Europe, said: “Electrified vehicles accounted for one in eight Kia models sold in Europe in 2018, up from one in 10 2017, and the Soul EV will further build on this momentum.”It is a delightful car to drive, with its electric powertrain giving it instant oomph as soon as you put your foot on the gas and push off.
