Lyall Cameron would not be a "bad signing" for Rangers - but a move for the Dundee star would only be "rectifying" past issues.
That is the view of Michael Stewart after Record Sport revealed the Light Blues are considering a move for Cameron as his contract ticks down at Dens Park.
The Dark Blues have offered the 22-year-old a new deal and remain in talks over an extension, but it's understood there is growing interest in Cameron with Rangers keen on a deal.
But Stewart reckons that the interest only signals Ibrox chiefs are attempting to correct mistakes of previous seasons where the likes of Lewis Ferguson and Josh Doig left the Premiership for a shot at Europe.
