Kevin Spacey smiles as he returns to work on first movie since 2017 in Italy following misconduct allegations

Kevin will play a detective who was wrongly accused of being a paedophile in the low-budget Italian film L’uomo che disegnò Dio (The Man who drew God).Franco Nero will direct the film and will play a blind artist who uses people’s voices to draw their exact features but ends up wrongly accused of sex abuse.

The director, 79, said: ‘It’s a true story — the story of a man who, though blind, creates sculptures of people’s faces.‘Among the actors, I made contact with Kevin Spacey.

We’re waiting for the end of the pandemic to pick up from where our preparatory work was interrupted.’It will be Kevin’s first film since he was accused of sexual harassment and improper behaviour by multiple men in 2017.
