Aberdeen have agreed a loan deal with Millwall to sign Kevin Nisbet. Record Sport broke the story of the Dons' bid to land the Scotland international last week.
The two clubs have agreed a deal and Nisbet has been given permission to travel north. The 27-year-old will now head to Cormack Park for a medical and to finalise his move.
Nisbet had other options in the English Championship but told Millwall he wanted to join Aberdeen. Nisbet wants to get back playing and scoring and is desperate to win his place back in the Scotland squad.
He feels a move to work under Jimmy Thelin would give him the best chance of that. The former Hibs star missed out on Euro 2024 because he had just returned from injury.
