Kevin Dobson, an actor known for his roles on the TV shows Kojak and Knots Landing, has sadly died at the age of 77. Dobson‘s rep confirmed to THR that he died on Sunday night (September 6) at a a hospital in Stockton, Calif., after struggling with an autoimmune deficiency.
Back in 1973, Kevin first gained fame from his role as Detective Bobby Crocker on the CBS cop series Kojak.
He starred on the series for all five seasons and reprised his role in the 1990 spinoff TV movie. Kevin later joined the cast of Knots Landing in its fourth season and stayed on the series for a full decade.
Some of Kevin‘s film credits include the war movie Midway and the rom-com All Night Long with Barbra Streisand.
