Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne has snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo from his current all-time greatest five a side team as Virgil van Dijk, Lionel Messi, Neymar and N'Golo Kante made his side.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was omitted from the Belgians mini-squad during a chat with former United defender Rio Ferdinand.
Ronaldo has been one of the glimmering lights in a dismal season for the Reds which resulted in the eventual sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Ferdinand stipulated no goalkeepers which allowed for the possibility of including the all-time leading international goalscorer but the 30-year-old opted for Messi instead, also leaving Robert Lewandowski out.
