The 46-year-old Scandal actress, who recently paid tribute to close friend Oprah Winfrey in celebration of her 69th birthday, revealed to People that writing the book was, 'by far, the most deeply personal project I have ever taken on.'The mother of two has been nominated for countless awards throughout the course of her career thus far, such as two Golden Globes, and expressed that she hopes, 'readers will receive' her memoir, 'with open hearts.'
