The heartbreaking discovery of the body of Jay Slater, the Lancashire teen who mysteriously disappeared after attending a music festival on the island of Tenerife four weeks ago, has had many parents putting themselves in the horrific position of Jay’s poor parents.

One of them was OK! columnist Kerry Katona, who has opened up about how the tragic sequence of events has her worrying about her own children when she’s not with them.

She said: ““Lilly is going on holiday soon and I do worry about her - especially after this whole Jay Slater news - it doesn’t get easier.” In happier news, Kerry continued: "Lilly and Molly are both coming home this week from Ireland for a visit and I can’t wait to have them back.

I haven’t seen Molly in almost a year! We talk on the phone every single day, but she just hasn’t been home to visit in a while.
