Fresh from her time on the panto stage, Kerry Katona has rushed in to save the day as she fills in for a big-name star who had to step aside due to "personal reasons".
Originally, Louie Spence was set to star in a Robin Hood production, but now the ex-Atomic Kitten singer, who is no stranger to treading the boards, is stepping into his boots. The newest role comes after Kerry previously shared the stage with her daughter Lilly-Sue in a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs pantomime last year.
Confirming the news, Anton Benson Productions revealed that reality TV legend Louie could no longer participate, passing the baton to Kerry: "Due to personal reasons, Louie Spence has withdrawn from the production of Robin Hood." But fans need not worry, as they proudly announced: "We are delighted to announce that the role of Sheriff of Nottingham will now be shared between our friends KERRY KATONA and DIVINA DE CAMPO who have kindly agreed to step in last minute." Making things crystal clear, the company continued: "'Kerry will play the role in Redditch, Northampton, Ellesmere Port and Mansfield.
Divina will play the role in Clacton, Grimsby and Doncaster. We are sure you will join us in giving them a warm welcome to the cast of Robin Hood.", reports the Mirror.
