Norwich midfielder Kenny McLean is reportedly a Rangers transfer option in January with the Light Blues considering a pre-contract offer.
The former Aberdeen star previously hinted he would love to play for his boyhood heroes one day with his current Canaries deal expiring in the summer.
McLean is a regular at the English Premier League promotion hopefuls but at 30 years old the Scotland cap may be tempted for a move back to the Scottish Premiership.
Scottish Express Sport claim Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his recruitment team are willing to table a contract for McLean, who was once in the club's youth system before joining St Mirren as a teenager.
