Kenny Dalglish reckons the team that handles the winter break the best could come out on top in the Scottish Premiership title race.
The shutdown was brought forward following Nicola Sturgeon’s decision to limit crowds to just 500 following a rise in Covid cases last month.But the top flight action is set to kick off again on Monday night with a huge midweek ahead in the league.
The winter break was blamed for derailing Rangers’ title charge in successive seasons under Steven Gerrard as they flopped on their return.
Gerrard opted not to take his squad away last season and they romped to the Scottish Premiership title.Celtic, though, did go to Dubai and that caused a storm of controversy at a time when the country was battling Covid.
