Kendrick Lamar has announced that he will release his first album for five years next month. Titled ‘Mr Morale And The Big Steppers’, the album will be his last for Top Dawg Entertainment and is set to be co-released with his own label, PGLang.Lamar yesterday published a short statement on PGLang letterhead announcing the album title, and its 13 May release date, on his oklama.com website.
The statement also notes that “all factual information for this release will come directly from this source only”.In a blog post on the same website last year, Lamar announced that he had been working on the album, writing: “I spend most of my days with fleeting thoughts.
