Kelly Rowland has addressed a recent incident at the Cannes Film Festival in which she appeared to reprimand a security guard while walking the red carpet.
Photos show the former Destiny's Child singer pointing at the woman in question, who looked to be touching her shoulder. Kelly, 43, attended the Marcello Mio premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in France on 21 May, and after posing for photos, she seemingly became involved in a heated exchange with a security officer while walking up the stairs.
Addressing the photos of the altercation, Kelly told AP News: "That woman knows what happened. I know what happened. I have a boundary and I stand by those boundaries." She further explained feeling singled out, adding: "There were other women that attended that carpet who did not quite look like me and they didn't get scolded, or pushed off, or told to get off.
I stood my ground and she felt like she had to stand hers. But I stood my ground." A lip reader previously told Page Six that during the exchange, Kelly said: "Don’t talk to me like that.
