Kelly Clarkson & Ex-Husband Brandon Blackstock Settle Lawsuits Over $2.6 Million in Comissions

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have settled their most recent lawsuits. Back in March, the 42-year-old singer and talk show host filed a suit claiming that her 47-year-old ex-husband and his father’s firm, Starstruck Entertainment, who managed her career for over a decade, violated state labor laws. Kelly claimed that she be awarded more than the $2.6 million that a California labor commissioner ruled Brandon owed her from allegedly overstepping his legal limits as her manager.

He filed a request to dismiss the lawsuit in April. On Thursday (May 23), it was reported that the lawsuit battle is over. Keep reading to find out more…“Everything is settled,” a source shared with People.

Details are confidential and were not disclosed. The bench trial scheduled for August 27 will now no longer be moving forward.

According to new court documents, Kelly requested a dismissal on Tuesday (May 21) while Brandon‘s management team filed its own request to dismiss all of her claims against him the following day. Kelly has not held back on her divorce and how she feels about Brandon.
