Kelly Clarkson is sending some love Kacey Musgraves way. The 38-year-old singer and talk show host covered one of Kacey‘s most iconic songs “Rainbow” on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week. Kelly beautiful performed the track, which is off Kacey‘s album Golden Hour. Kelly was accompanied by her musical director, Jason Halbert, on piano. “Well the sky has finally opened/ The rain and wind stopped blowin’/ But you’re stuck out in the same old storm again/ You hold tight to your umbrella/ Darlin’, I’m just tryin’ to tell ya/ That there’s always been a rainbow hangin’ over your head,” Kelly sung in the powerful chorus, amid political uproar in the nation’s capitol this week.
