Kelly Brook has candidly discussed her decision to remain childless, highlighting the importance of open conversations among women on this personal choice. The 44-year-old model and television star shared that after enduring heartbreaking miscarriages with former partner Thom Evans in 2011 and 2012, she and her husband, Jeremy Parisi, have decided not to pursue starting a family.
Speaking to The Sun, Kelly expressed: "I am actually childless by choice at the moment. It's not something that we have considered and I don't think that should be a taboo." She reflected on societal expectations, questioning whether motherhood was ever truly her desire or just a norm to conform to.
Kelly remarked: "I think it is a really brave thing to say as a woman. Sometimes I look back and wonder if it was ever what I really wanted?
Maybe I was going along with it because it's expected. Because that's what everyone does." Despite enjoying her current lifestyle, Kelly hasn't completely closed the door on the idea of adoption in the future.
