The 31-year-old One of Them Days actress won the Entertainer of the Year award at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (February 22) in Pasadena, Calif. “It’s so important that we come here together and celebrate one another,” she said during her acceptance speech. “Nobody has uplifted me more than you, all the people in this room.” She also hilariously said she didn’t think she was going to win because of Cynthia Erivo, pointing at her and singing “Defying Gravity”!
