EXCLUSIVE: Keith David has signed with Verve for representation. Most recently, David joined the cast of the 20th Century feature film Mike, Nick, Nick & Alice and will play the villain opposite Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, Eiza Gonzalez and Jimmy Tatro.
With a career spanning over four decades, David has a long list of feature credits including iconic films such as Platoon and Crash—both Academy Award winners for Best Picture—Requiem for a Dream, There’s Something About Mary, They Live, Nope, and most recently, American Fiction for which he received his first SAG award nomination.
On the television side, David just wrapped filming on FX’s The Sensitive Kind, where he stars alongside Ethan Hawke. He will also feature in the upcoming HBO Max series Duster, produced by JJ Abrams and LaToya Morgan, as well as the limited series The Gray House, produced by Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman.
David’s voice has earned him widespread recognition, including three Emmy Awards for narrating Ken Burns’ documentaries Jackie Robinson, The War, and Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson.
