A man accused of murdering Keeley Bunker was sent a text message branding him "dumb" for letting her walk home alone, jurors heard today.
Wesley Streete received a text asking: "Are you f****** dumb letting Keeley walk home?" Another said: "Never in a million years would I let that girl walk home on her own." Streete, 20, claimed he left Ms Bunker near a phone box after they walked partway home together from a friend's house early on September 19 last year, the day she disappeared.
Her body was found by her uncle in Wigginton Park, Tamworth, that evening, Stafford Crown Court has been told. Streete replied telling the recipient: "You don’t even know the situation", jurors heard, and: "Don’t chat to me like that".
