Keegan-Michael Key References ‘Key & Peele’ Sketch During College Football Coverage

Although Key & Peele has long been off the air, not much has changed in the world of college football. Nearly a decade after the Comedy Central show ended, Keegan-Michael Key referenced a classic sketch as he appeared on TNT‘s College Football Playoff Kickoff Show during Saturday’s game between SMU and Penn State.

The show’s roundtable presented two of the most interesting names in college football, a tribute to the Key & Peele sketch ‘East/West College Bowl‘, asking Key to weigh in on the monikers Moh Bility (Rice University cornerback) and General Booty (UL Monroe quarterback). “Of these two, just for the sheer cleverness of the name Moh Bility,” he said through laughter. “I like the ‘H’ too, kinda mixes it up a little bit.” Key added, “First of all, if you’re gonna name your kid General, he better succeed.
