mirror.co.ukKaty Perry has provoked a huge debate after saying she will turn her dog vegan. The I Kissed A Girl singer, 36, took to her Twitter account on Saturday night to announce her plans to go plant-based, and revealed that her pooch Nugget has been slowly turning vegan with her.
She tweeted: "I'm about 95% ready to be 100% VEGAN... my dog Nugget has been joining me on this journey for the past 4 monthz. "Pray for us ok." But her announcement proved be divisive, with many of her Twitter followers saying it's animal cruelty to not feed a dog meat.
One tweeted: "I hope Nugget has only been joining you for emotional support! Dogs shouldn't be vegan, so please continue providing their necessary requirements!
