Katy Perry is no stranger to changing up her hair, switching styles and shades faster than we can keep up. And her latest hair reveal is no different.

The pop star has switched from a shoulder-length blonde ‘do to new waist-length waves in a glossy, jet black shade – a look reminiscent of the one Katy was famous for when she first burst onto the music scene back in 2007.

The Firework singer posted the glam snap to her Instagram page to promote the latest episode of American Idol, on which she is a judge.

In it, she is wearing a slinky jewel-encrusted dress with her hair worn in loose waves, with a fringe parted to the side. “We’re all about finding the diamonds in the rough,” she captioned the post.
