While attending a curated cocktail event at NYC’s Mister Paradise on Monday, the American Idol judge told People she has stopped drinking alcohol amid a “pact” with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.
She shared: Amazing! Related: American Idol Contestant SLAMS Katy For ‘Mom Shaming’ Her! While this is a short-term thing for now, she has plans to quit drinking for good, the singer explained: Per the outlet, she jokingly pretended to cry while saying this.
Her co-star Luke Bryan then acknowledged how hard it must’ve been to be at a cocktail event, and he asked if she was going to give up during the party.
