Katie Price and Piers Morgan have paid tribute to Captain Tom Moore by clapping for the late veteran hero. Boris Johnson urged people to show their appreciation for Captain Tom, who died on Tuesday at the age of 100.

The applause for the fundraiser is similar to the weekly "Clap for Carers" events which took place during the first stage of the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK.

A whole host of famous faces rushed to their doors this evening to share their appreciation for Captain Tom’s incredible life, including his legacy and the £33million pounds he raised for the NHS at the beginning of the pandemic.
