Katherine Ryan's husband Bobby not keen on her 'extreme' cosmetic surgery plans

As the second series of At Home With Katherine Ryan is set to return on U&W, Katherine Ryan dished out that she's treated her 64 year old mum Julie to a facelift. "It could be received as a slam," confessed Katherine, considering how some might take the gift.
She added, "But again, our family is so transparent, we know a lot about each other and what each other wants. It’s lonely to look in the mirror and no longer recognise yourself.
And I just knew my mom would like a facelift." Katherine fancies one for herself too, further down the line, but her husband Bobby Kootstra isn't quite sold on the idea. "Rightly, Bobby views any surgery as an unnecessary, very small, risk to your life," Katherine explains.The comedian reveals that Bobby's love has always been unconditional, recalling their time together before she embraced fame or cosmetic enhancements.
He's not head over heels for the idea of surgery, but if it truly made Katherine happy, he'd back her — "Through gritted teeth," Katherine says.
