Why? Because there is no country, I’ve been to many countries, that loves music more than the Philippines. This is true,” David told the crowd, according to PhilStar.com.
The concert featured Kat, Brian McKnight, and local talent belting out many of David‘s hit songs from over the years. Kat performed songs like Celine Dion‘s “The Power of Love,” Whitney Houston‘s “I Have Nothing” and “I Will Always Love You,” as well as her own hit song, “Terrified.” While performing “Terrified,” Katharine noted that she felt like Taylor Swift thanks to the crowd’s reaction to her 2010 hit.
