Kate Middleton is likely to be feeling heartbroken after Prince William decided to prioritise his duty to the monarchy, meaning he has less time for his wife and three kids, according to a royal expert.
The future King and his wife, the Princess of Wales, started taking on more responsibilities after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's shock exit from the Firm in 2020.Their duties and power in the Royal Family have since heightened again after King Charles became the monarch next year, meaning William is now next in line to the throne.Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, William and Harry’s former private secretary, said the prince "made the conscious decision" that "duty comes first", the Mirror reports.Some royal experts believe that the Prince of Wales' family is now taking second place to his royal duties which he has chosen to put first.According to Bella's royal expert Duncan Larcombe, the thought of William pulling away from Kate and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, would likely make the Princess of Wales upset.Mr Larcombe said: "She will be heartbroken about having to share her husband as he grows into his destiny. "She's very supportive, but she's had to accept that he will spend less time at home as his priorities change due to circumstances." He went on to say that William had prioritised his family for the first ten years of marriage but it now appears that his prime concerns "have started to change", Closer Online reports.
