Kate Middleton Was Decked Out in Full Camo for a Visit With the Irish Guards
glamour.comspent time in Wiltshire, England on March 8 to visit the stationed at Salisbury Plain. Middleton swapped her royal garb for camouflage and combat boots as she braved the snowy terrain.
As of December 2022, Middleton is an honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards. The role was passed on to her after appointed Prince William, former Colonel of the Irish Guards, as the Colonel of the Welsh Guards.Middleton's visit was documented by the press, who captured photos of her trekking through the snow.
She posted some of the images to Instagram with the , “The work of the Irish Guards is as wide-ranging as it is exemplary, from training park rangers on counter-poaching in East Africa to de-mining training for Ukrainian Armed Forces.” Kate Middleton participated in medical training exercises during her visit.
She practiced a battlefield casualty drill and learned how to care for injured soldiers. Historically, the royals have visited the Irish Guards to celebrate , where Middleton usually dresses in shades of green to mark the occasion.
