Kate Middleton shares her kids' favourite hobby – which turns Louis into a 'kamikaze'

Kate Middleton has opened up about how popular rugby is in their household, and how all three of her kids enjoy playing. The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, is proud mum to Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.

Discussing George and the sports he plays at school at a rugby training session she attended today, Wednesday 2 February, Kate said: “Now that there is a move towards co-ed sport, so it’s not just girls playing netball, but other sports like rugby, which is great.” “They’re all enjoying it,” she continued. “Louis is kamikaze, we’re worrying about when he gets older, he’ll be in the middle of everything.” Kate’s comments come after the duchess was officially crowned the new Patron of the Rugby Football League and the Rugby Football Union.

Following the announcement, the mum-of-three was gifted with junior England kits for George, Charlotte and Louis from the Rugby Football Union women’s team.

Player Sarah Hunter spoke of how pleased she and the rest of the team were to have Kate as the new patron. She said, as per The Sun: “It is amazing to have Her Royal Highness as our patron, to have an iconic woman like the Duchess of Cambridge advocating for the sport and encouraging more young people to come through, is so good for the game.
