Kate Middleton has reportedly sent Meghan Markle "a clear message to back off" as their ongoing feud continues to divide the royals.

According to a new source, the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly not on talking terms.Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020, and they have faced a barrage of backlash since with the release of their 'tell-all' Netflix docuseries and Harry's bombshell memoir which threw serious allegations towards the monarchy.

More recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been facing a downward spiral of luck with their $20 million Spotify deal being axed and their show being snubbed for an Emmy award, which allegedly left them both "devastated."The recent events have allegedly even prompted Harry to consider a return to the UK where he would work under his grandfather King Charles, as we previously reported Kate "blames" Meghan for Harry's seemingly constant downfalls. "Meghan needs to be extremely careful with these power games because Kate won’t hesitate to keep sticking up for the royals as well as herself," the source told Closer magazine."She’s shown an incredible amount of tolerance and bitten her lip but even she can only be pushed so far, and this latest revelation is being seen as a very clear message to Meghan to back off and watch what she says about Kate moving forward."The bottom line here is that Kate’s not afraid to take the gloves off and play dirty if she has to.

It’s about self-preservation and not being walked all over, but also what’s fair and right at the end of the day, too."Kate is believed to continue to be the voice for the monarchy, as she continues to stick up for the institution.
