Kate Middleton had a bit of a hair-raising moment when an overzealous fan got a little too hands-on during a selfie at the Coronation concert in Windsor last year.The American tourist couldn't contain her excitement and ended up grabbing the Princess of Wales' hair, but thankfully, a quick-acting security guard was on hand to intervene.
Despite the unexpected hair-pulling, our future Queen Consort didn't seem phased at all - she even managed to flash a smile for the selfie with the overly enthusiastic Royal fan.
Another security guard came over to check on the situation, but Kate remained cool as a cucumber throughout the ordeal. After the photo op, she graciously told the fan "nice to meet you", proving that it takes more than a hair tug to ruffle her feathers.The fan, clearly over the moon about meeting the princess, quickly apologised to the security guard who had to step in.
But it wasn't all drama for Kate during the walkabout. In a heartwarming moment, she also comforted a crying little girl, reports the Mirror.The young Royal fan, decked out in Union Flag deely boppers and a navy dress adorned with patriotic motifs, was given a long hug by the princess.
