The Prince and Princess of Wales were surprise guests at the wedding of Jordan’s Crown Prince last week. But nobody knew the huge headache that part of Kate's outfit would cause.The couple also went to the evening reception held by Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa in Jordan, on 1 June.

For the occasion, Kate teamed a shimmering pink Jenny Packham gown with the incredible Lover's Knot Tiara, which was also a favourite of her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

Kate had the glistening headpiece passed down to her and has also worn it on other engagements, including a state banquet at Buckingham Palace in November last year.

It also made an appearance at a State Banquet for the King and Queen of Spain in July 2017, and another State Banquet for then-President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in June 2019.The diamond and pearl-encrusted tiara was made by Royal jeweller Garrard in 1914, from pearls and diamonds already in to Queen Mary's possession.
